The article deals with the analysis of soft skills in the context of higher education during the state of health emergency caused by COVID-19 in the year 2020 in Peru; the objective was to determine the influence of soft skills in the context of higher education during this period. A quantitative methodology was used, where the hypothetical deductive method predominated, in a non-experimental, descriptive design. It was obtained as a result that; the integral formation, through the incursion of ethical and moral values in the academic aspect establishes in society the pertinent observance and valuation of human rights and that, during the COVID 19 pandemic in higher education, the instruction and practice of values in education decreased, and it was concluded that: soft skills in the higher education context are established in a relevant way, the incorporation of personal education, incites in society to respect for human rights, soft skills, limited the spontaneous and active interaction of teacher and learner.
