Abstract

The general objective was to determine the relationship between university social responsibility (RSU) as a model to mitigate negative impacts and promote positive ones and entrepreneurship in industrial engineering students from a public university in Metropolitan Lima, likewise the specific objectives were: determine the relationship between RSU training and entrepreneurship; determine the relationship between RSU research and entrepreneurship; determine the relationship between extension in the RSU and entrepreneurship and determine the relationship between management in the RSU and entrepreneurship. The study was basic type, correlational descriptive level, quantitative approach and non-experimental design. The population was 2,345 industrial engineering students from a public university in Metropolitan Lima, in addition, the probabilistic sample was 368 students. The data collection was carried out with a questionnaire for RSU with 20 questions and another for entrepreneurship with 18 questions, they were validated by three experts, their reliability was also confirmed with α=0.78. The data was collected virtually, analyzed from the descriptive field, with absolute and relative frequencies, and from the inferential field through the Pearson correlation coefficient.
