Abstract

The research presented has de intention of analyzing the particularities of Historical Pentecostalism that are present in the Evangelical Pentecostal Church “Assembly of God” Aguas Vivas of the Municipality of Cruces in the period from 1950 to 2020. The investigation allowed to show that these particularities are the rapid expansion in churches, memberships and prayer cells expressions of revival before it occurred al the country level, strengthening of organization and institutionalization, based on religious conscience and practices, from an ethic that is determined by the economic, political and cultural situation of Cruces between 1950 -2020. The methodology used is qualitative, it uses the theoretical methods, historical analysis-logical, dedictive-inductive, empirical methods, content analysis, observation, and iconography. The type study is exploratory-descriptive according to Hernandez Sampieri (2006) and Martinez Migueles. We assume with the latter that by its nature it responds to the field of ethnography. Where it is recognized that there are three descriptive levels that can be used in research. The firs of them is the normal description, which is the one used in the present investigation.
