Abstract

Scientific research is crucial in health sciences and has a positive impact on improving healthcare and overall health, hence the importance of studying it. Therefore, the objective of this study is to interpret the significance of scientific research applied to health sciences through evidence-based practice. To achieve this, a systematic search is conducted using meta-search engines and keywords. The main findings reaffirm the importance of research in the education of healthcare professionals, in clinical practice, and in the development of new treatments supported by technology, representing a direct benefit for patients. The need to continue promoting this as an educational resource in medical institutions is emphasized.
