Abstract

The Basic Distance Education is an achievement as a study modality that UNIANDES implements, because it aims to reach all Ecuadorians, regardless of age, but who are interested in preparing to aspire to a better future. The objective of the study was to analyze the humanistic postulates of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle in the context of the UNIANDES curriculum. It is an observational, retrospective, cross-sectional and descriptive study. Several methods are applied, such as Analytical-Synthetic, Inductive-Deductive, Historical-Logical, systemic approach and entropy. Furthermore, documentary analysis is used as a method of the empirical level of knowledge. It is concluded that education is the best way to move Ecuador and UNIANDES Basic Education students forward, who will be present in the training and guidance of children who are undoubtedly the Ecuadorian future. The postulates of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle are present in the UNIANDES curriculum.
