The study addressed teachers' perceptions of the inclusion of sexuality education in early childhood. A qualitative approach was applied using individual interviews with 12 primary school educators. The results revealed a majority trend among teachers towards the importance of addressing sexuality from an early age, although disagreements were identified regarding who should address these conversations and how to do it. The findings suggest that the implementation of sexual education programs requires promoting autonomy and preventing situations of vulnerability in the infant. The possibility of workshops led by experts is proposed as a viable alternative to complement school training, which could provide a safe and enriching space where children can ask questions and receive guidance based on their level of understanding. Finally, in future studies, delve into the curricular proposal of the textbooks proposed in the New Mexican School, as well as the educational materials.
