OJEDA PARDO, Rosa Yakeline; GUARNIZO CONDOLO, María Fernanda; MEDINA LEON, Alberto and VILLEGAS RICAUTER, Vicente Vallardo. System of activities in a virtual learning environment, subject: eighth grade natural sciences. Universidad y Sociedad [online]. 2025, vol.17, n.3 Epub June 30, 2025. ISSN 2218-3620.
The study of the effectiveness of activity systems and digital environments in education is a current topic. The objective of this research was to develop an activity system using a virtual learning environment in the subject of Natural Sciences (eighth grade). The research was conducted using a quantitative, experimental, applied, cross-sectional, and correlational approach. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, including observation, document review, and a survey. Processed with SPSS V25 software, the study determined Cronbach's alpha and R-squared to assess the instrument's reliability and validity. An activity system was developed, and its implementation was verified by comparing the academic results of the experimental versus control groups (an increase of 0.83 units) and the 1.12 increase versus the initial results. The Wilconson Range test was applied and it was shown that there is a significant difference between the results of the experimental group and the control group due to the implementation of the activity system and a group of teachers corroborated by the Torgeson's method states that the system of activities created contributes to motivation, academic performance, meaningful learning and satisfaction with classes.
