A low-cost equipment with locally produced materials and electrolytic cells were built to show the linear quantitative relationship between the time of electrolysis and a constant current pulse during the redox titration of sodium metabisulphite with iodine electrogenerated with no salt bridge used, by means of acidity levels generated in situ. Both, the visual and low cost simultaneous photodetection endpoint were collected to determine free SO2 levels in red wine.
Palabras clave : microscale; coulometry; photocolorimetry; sulphite titration; red wine.
