PEREZ-RODRIGUEZ, Ángel Tomás et al. Properties of blends obtained from polyamides and polyesteramides derived from tartaric and succinic acids. Rev Cub Quim [online]. 2018, vol.30, n.3, pp. 505-521. ISSN 2224-5421.
The project was conceived with the purpose of evaluating the properties of blends obtained from polyamides and polyesteramides derived from tartaric and succinic acids. The investigation was developed in the characterization, structure and property areas. The miscibility was evaluated by thermal methods, checking the compatibility by means of the mechanical properties in dry. The blends show a glass transition and a single peak among those of the components. The mechanical behavior in humid and the hygroscopicity in a regulated environment at 23 ºC and 55 % of relative humidity were studied. Some of the most important results are: the films are homogeneous and the plasticizer effect of water is less pronounced; the blend shows a bigger resistance and tenacity than that of the components; the single vitreous transition temperatures demonstrate the miscibility of these systems.
