Resumen

PEREZ-GARRIDO, Neyda et al. EVALUATION OF MYCOTOXIN RESIDUALS AND ITS ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS (PART II). RTQ [online]. 2011, vol.31, n.2, pp.135-144. ISSN 2224-6185.

In this article ecotoxicological tests are performed in order to infer the residual effect of mycotoxins may have on the ecosystem from the effect it produces on a population of organisms that form a fundamental part of the food chain. The ecotoxicological tests on Brachidanio rerio, showed that mortality was 100 % of the fish at concentrations 10, 20 and 30 % of solid waste and 5 % in the case of residual liquid. In the study with Eisenia andrei repellency existed in the four treatments during the first 24 hours indicating that the concentration and residual toxicity are proportional. It was also shown that the LC50 is estimated between 1.5 g and 2.0 g of residual solid. When evaluating the different levels of residual liquid (0.1, 1, 10, 100 %) of Artemia sp experiment, it was observed that there is a direct relationship between mortality and the concentration levels tested, evidencing the maximum effect from the concentration of 1% with 100 % mortality. This clearly demonstrates that the residuals obtained in the art of mycotoxins are toxic to both aquatic and for the land.

Palabras clave : mycotoxins; ecotoxicological tests; artemia; lethal concentration.
