Resumen

PEREZ GARRIDO, Neyda et al. EVALUATION OF THE RESIDUAL OF COPROPORFIRINAS III AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS (PART I). RTQ [online]. 2018, vol.38, n.2, pp.346-352. ISSN 2224-6185.

The increasing industrial and urban development has brought the use of chemical agents, indiscriminately using their properties, their handling is dangerous and causes irreversible damage to the health of humans and ecosystems. This study was carried out with the objective of evaluating the level of contamination generated by the residuals of the techniques of Coproporphyrins III, from the Laboratory of Analytical Chemistry of TOXIMED, which are discharged without an effective treatment to the environment, to analyze the pollutant load of These wastes were carried out the physical chemical characterization and was compared with the established in the Cuban Standard 27:2012. From the results, we conclude that from the physical chemical point of view, the total solids, pH, nitrites, nitrates and dissolved oxygen were those that showed the degree of contamination of the residual. It is demonstrated that the residuals obtained in the Coproporphyrins III technique have toxic effects for both aquatic and terrestrial environments and therefore must be treated to be discharged.
