Today's society has access to pocket technology connected like a conventional computer. These mobile technologies offer new opportunities for learning. Some Learning Management Systems have adopted alternatives to incorporate or integrate m-learning, whether performing responsive web design, web applications, native applications or using some combination of these; however are insufficient the solutions developed. At the University of Information Science an educational platform was developed called ZERA, even though its potential in its design was not taken into account its use on mobile devices which affects the availability of its contents and its proper functioning. This article highlights the theoretical references related to the responsive web design and its application in ZERA; using HTML5 and semantic tags, the Bootstrap CSS framework, custom breakpoints, a high degree of flexibility in the design and use of polyfills Adaptive Image for adapting images. The tests performed after the responsive web design was implemented in the educational platform ZERA allowed to check their adaptability to different screen sizes and mobile devices.
