Resumen

BELLO, Marilyn; LUGO, Lázaro; GARCIA, María M  y  BELLO, Rafael. A method for the generation of rankings in the teamwork selection in competitive environment based on genetic algorithms. Rev cuba cienc informat [online]. 2016, vol.10, n.2, pp.196-210. ISSN 2227-1899.

The team selection is an important task in the management of human resources, in which the purpose is to carry out a personnel selection process in order to form teams. This process is usually performed from rankings of candidates that reflect the decision-makers’ preferences. In this work, the process of team selection is developed in a different approach, because two decision-makers must select their teams from a common set of candidates. For accomplishing that goal, they have a group of experts, which assist them with the candidates’ ranking. For this new problem, a method of aggregation of rankings based on genetic algorithm is proposed. The proposed method finds, from the generated rankings for each group of experts, the consensus rankings that work as a base for every decision-maker to form teams. The algorithm is implemented on the evolutionary platform ECJ (Evolutionary Computation Java), which yields satisfactory results.

Palabras clave : aggregation of rankings; genetic algorithms; personnel selection; team selection.
