The use of geographic information systems in branches such as agriculture provides support to increase the efficiency of farming tasks. Specifically, in sugarcane agriculture, they allow the analysis of various sources of geographic information currently available, such as aerial images and harvest data of agricultural machinery; This allows obtaining productive indicators for the application of advanced cultivation techniques. The objective of this work is to propose a Geographical Information System based on free software for the application of new techniques of crop management in the province of Villa Clara. As a result of this research, a spatial information integration platform was obtained related to sugarcane cultivation areas in the province, together with the harvest data provided by the new agricultural machinery that has recently been imported into the country. Based on this information and together with the geo-algorithm present in QGIS, it was possible to obtain productive indicators that support administrative decision making and the planning of future competitions.
