RODRIGUEZ ORNELAS, Nancy Evelyn; CABRAL CORREA, Román y AGUILERA AMARO, José Luis. The transnational family in the context of contemporary migration. One study of México. Santiago [online]. 2025, n.166 Epub 01-Abr-2025. ISSN 2227-6513.
The research work presented is the result of a bibliographic search that included a significant number of theoretical references. The main variables of the study are: family and migration, historical-cultural phenomena with a diverse scientific treatment. They represent a social reality studied especially from the social sciences. In contemporary times they constitute topics of transcendental importance, taking into account that they are associated with life perspectives and national development. Population transitions, transfers or movements affect sociodemographic and socioeconomic indicators, birth rate, security, health, education, food, production, trade, among others. The United Mexican States and the United States of America have a very close historical bond, beneficial for both nations although their dimensions are unequal, asymmetrical and very contradictory. The transfer from one country to another, separated by a shared border of thousands of kilometers, with intense mobility, generates damages that must be addressed by scientific and political management. The essentially qualitative methodology used, based on the use of techniques such as bibliographic search and text analysis, led to supporting the criterion that work should be done to ensure the non-disintegration and dismemberment of families, their multinational integration, pluralism and multiculturalism, social inclusion, and multidirectional and multidimensional contributions. Hence, the objective of the research is: to analyze the impact of the migratory movement on the formation of a transnational family.
of a transnational family taking as relating the Mexican population's study.
