DUANY DIAZ, Teresita Danayse; DOMINGUEZ DIAZ, Dulce María y COLAS VIANT, Margiolis. Climate change and risks that cause its effects on human health. Anales de la ACC [online]. 2024, vol.14, n.4 Epub 01-Dic-2024. ISSN 2304-0106.
It is important to know the effects of climate change regarding the risks to human health, as well as the health repercussion of the Tarea Vida program in the Cuban nation. That is why a systematic review without meta-analysis was carried out about climate change, its health risks and the health effects of the implementation of Tarea Vida in Cuba. A search was necessary in four open access databases: PubMed, SciELO, BIREME digital library and MedlinePlus. The main terms were: health, climate change, health risks, sanitary actions and Tarea Vida. A relationship was found between extreme climatic events and diseases, both acute infectious and chronic non-communicable; it was evident that climate change can cause respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological pathologies, among others. The Cuban Tarea Vida Plan has prepared the population of the largest of the Antilles for better facing the climate change and superior care for their health.
