ABSTRACT: Analyzes the causes and consequences of historical fragmentation of culture, identity and higher education, especially in Cuba. It presents a review of the seized cultural dynamics in its active global-local contextual connections to cultures and sciences which are not further assumed insurmountable dichotomies, as the result would be the schism of identity. Proposes to turn a build bridges reorganizers progress in developing the skills of not separating, connecting, of transrelating social processes that occur in human identities embedded in specific socio-historical and universal environments across the multiplicity of edges that up, which expand.
