The paper presents a reference to the Cuban cooperative movement since its inception to the present. Furthermore is reflected each type of cooperative: Cooperative of Credits and Services (CCS) Agricultural Production Cooperatives (CPA), Basic Units of Cooperative Production (UPBC) and Agricultural Cooperatives No (CNOA); and the legal forms which cover training and development from 1959 to 2012. Cooperative sector behavior is analyzed in a five-year period from 2011 to 2015 and the imprint that cause CNOA. future strategies in the cooperative sector is displayed according to their current behavior; arriving at conclusions that can be very useful to face the challenges of the cooperative sector dissimilar in today's Cuba.
