This article provides an analysis about how the effect of the politic-economic changes has affected the social Cuban structure since the approval of the lineaments at the VI Congress of the Communist Cuban Party. However, this paper focuses on a specific reform: self-employment and it has been conducted in Havana. In the same way, this article also offers an analysis about the role of women in this kind of work, it performs a study about the role that women execute in this new work structures.
