ABSTRACT: The article uses the metaphor of a "Little Red Riding Hood" that has decided to empower itself in the digital environment to face the hegemonic logics of domination that prevail on the web - individuals in the ferocious wolf - to insist on the need to develop Empowerment in cyberspace. It also explains how the power to interact with social networks, and also with other applications such as blogs, allows especially young people, digital natives, to understand the advantages and disadvantages of each one of them, leading them to think, as a group, strategic actions in social networks. It carries out an analysis of an experience developed in Cuba that allows assessing the contributions of the conception and methodology of Popular Education and the IAP as a research method, in order to achieve a conscious and committed education that allows the construction of knowledge in collective and Advocate for the culture of dialogue as the essence of communicative processes.
