PEDROSO AGUIAR, Willy  and  RODRIGUEZ CRUZ, Yunier. Management of the Formation, Investigation and University Extension for Adapting to Climate Change. Estudios del Desarrollo Social [online]. 2018, vol.6, n.3, e10. ISSN 2308-0132.

Information and communication management as essential processes in environmental and social management are key elements in social and community adaptation strategies. The Faculty of Communication, University of Havana, has gained experiences in supporting community-based adaptation through integrated teaching, research, and university extension management, management of knowledge and innovation networks with the environment, and adoption of cross-cutting strategies for environmental education. This paper presents these experiences, putting emphasis on trends in research and greening, ability formation, and production. They can serve as examples which education institutions in the realm of information and communication, and entities which support climate change adaptation can follow.

Keywords : information; communication; information management; environmental communication.
