Resumen

The article exposes the results of an investigation that determined some social inequalities existing in the youth of the Plaza de la Revolución municipality, in Cuba, in the fields of education and employment. To do this, it uses different sources of national information such as the 2002-2012 Population and Housing Censuses and the VI National Youth Survey (2012) as a basis. It can be seen how the issue of social inequalities has special importance within the transformations in current Cuba.
