The article addresses the importance of the non-state sector in agricultural production and the need for an efficient marketing process by the agricultural cooperatives of the Bayamo municipality. In addition, it analyzes the main insufficiencies that limit their normal marketing process. It characterizes the main factors that currently limit the process of commercialization of the products of agricultural cooperatives destined for the consumption of the population of the Bayamo municipality. It is concluded that the main factors that limit the commercialization process of the cooperatives are the losses of the products produced by the cooperatives, the breaches of the contracts of the state companies with the agricultural cooperatives, the lack of packaging for the collection of the products, as well as the high prices that cooperatives pay for productive inputs and for the productive services they receive from state enterprises.
