COVID-19 in Cuba has forced a restructuring of the traditional way in which children access knowledge. Although schools were kept closed, teleclasses broadcast on national television allowed the school year to continue and placed families at the heart of the process. In this sense, this article analyzes how the teleclasses have been received by a group of children from different territories and how the media have influenced their health and hygiene education in this context. To this end, a qualitative approach was used and work was done with a non-probabilistic sample of 47 children (between 5 and 11 years of age), from six Cuban provinces.
