This article seeks to achieve an approach to the humanist Marti´s thought, and how it is reflected in the activity thousands of scientists in Cuba develop, above all in the context that still subsist of covid-19, in such a way that the results obtained not only satisfy a factual need, a need of use, or of life; but also, how they bring with them an ethical tribute to consciousness foundation and of convictions that take root in a context that encourages and ennobles. In essence, there is carried out the study of two dimensions present in his work; originality and truth, as a consequence of the notion of work, concepts that manifest a group of ethical values of great importance to that activity.
