Teaching a new language is always a challenge for teachers. Especially, the English required in educational institutions presents a series of methods that require special attention and new practices on the part of the teachers who teach the subject to motivate students in their learning process. In this framework, pedagogy offers a series of strategies that can be applied on a practical level that allow students to be encouraged in such a way that they feel enthusiastic about the area. Some of these strategies are those that are addressed in this research work, especially performing arts. These strategies, which are very useful, promote such essential English skills as speaking and listening; The objective of this work was to identify the influence of emotions through art in learning the English language. This research is exploratory, a survey was applied to the students of the “Francisco Pizarro” Educational Unit of the Santa Elena canton, Ecuador. The study shows that teachers use art in classes and contribute to learning the English language, especially in grammar skills.
