At present, one of the most important areas is the use of ICT, in particular, augmented reality is little used as a tool and resource of this type, which needs to be incorporated into the training of future Mathematics teachers of Education. Basic, from a collaborative perspective. The purpose of the study was materialized in the elaboration of a proposal of methodological procedures for the use of augmented reality as an emerging educational technology, which contributes to the development of collaborative learning in the teaching-learning process of the Mathematics Didactics subject of the sixth semester, of the Basic Education career of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Educational Sciences. A mixed approach was used, of an explanatory type, with a non-experimental design, with a sample of 135 students and 3 teachers who teach the Didactics of Mathematics subject in said UTM career. The proposed methodological procedures reflect a sequence that guarantees the teacher the possibility of developing their classes with the use of augmented reality as tools that are part of collaborative work. It was recognized as adequate and pertinent by the specialists who examined it.
