Resumen

CANTALAPIEDRA GONZALEZ, María José; DE ALZAGA FRAGUAS, Pedro  y  ITURREGUI MARDARAS, Leire. Hypermedia convergence in corporate communication. ARCIC [online]. 2017, vol.6, n.14, pp.124-135. ISSN 2411-9970.

This work includes the elaboration process and some of the main results of the Project "Application of hypermedia convergence in corporate communication: open communication room (SCA)" funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain. The research team is working on the creation and conceptualization of a corporate communication tool that systematizes the information flows in different corporations in the digital communication environment. For this, the conceptual framework of the project starts from the status of open source of information that currently have different corporations, as opposed to the concept of closed source that defined the exercise of the journalistic profession until the emergence of the Internet. The project focuses its attention on the Virtual Press Rooms (SPV) of the corporations, developing a mapping of them in Spain, based on a database prepared with the SPV of associations, companies and institutions at the state level, in order to offer an initial diagnosis about the use of web 2.0 in institutional communication relations. Finally, an approximation to the profile and functions of communication managers of public institutions is presented
