The article addresses the responsibility of the mass media in the diffusion of the work of men and women who are an inescapable part of the national future and are members by virtue of their great identity-historical-cultural heritage. In this sense, the construction of funeral parlors dedicated to heroes and martyrs with monumental characteristics reinforce the work of preserving traditions, because they are not only memories of the heroic past, but a great spiritual wealth and an inspiring force, which can be transformed into will and in heroism in the present generations. Assuming that journalism has a "desperate historical need", those seats that are referred to have to go from official points of concurrence, to an educational, guiding, promoter of values and continuous studies on the heroes in which in them rest: scenarios of memory and symbolic interactions.
