This research identifies and analyzes the features that characterize the undergrade thesis that belong to the Institutional Communication discipline of the Faculty of Communication of the University of Havana during the years 2016 and 2017. It is a qualitative-descriptive thesis because the aim of the research is to specify the features, properties and guidelines of the chosen diploma studies based on a series of theoretical, methodological and bibliometric characteristics. Bibliographic and documentary analysis, qualitative content analysis and bibliometrics are the main methods and techniques used. A database with all the examined articles was created in Excel in order to analyzed the quantitative statistical data.
