This paper aims to characterize the careers paths of graduates of Journalism of the School of Communication at the University of Havana between 2010 and 2014. For this purpose, we achieve an approach to theories that assist on the analysis of the careers paths of graduates of Journalism, and we allude then to the sociopolitical and medias context that determines this process. As part of the article’s body, we include later the results of a previous research, which has been focused on the description of the main characteristics of the graduate’s insertion in the professional field of Cuban Journalism.
