<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000300001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000300001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000300001&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El presente trabajo se realizó en la Finca &#8220;La Berta&#8221; ubicada en el municipio de Alquízar, provincia Artemisa, con el objetivo de evaluar la efectividad de los hongos Lecanicillium lecanii (Zimm) Zare &amp; Gams, Trichoderma harzianum Rifai y Metarhizium anisopliae sensu lato (Metsch) Sorokin a una dosis de 1012 conidios ha-1 y Azufre a una dosis de 3 kg ha-1(i.a.), aplicados semanalmente en el área foliar de la planta, en el control de trips (Thrips palmi Karny), salta hojas (Empoasca kraemeri Ross &amp; Moore) y mosca blanca (Bemisia tabaci Gennadius), en el cultivo del frijol común (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), variedad CC-25-9N. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques al azar con cinco tratamientos y cuatro réplicas. Se evaluó la población de los insectos semanalmente, después del inicio de las aplicaciones, y en total se hicieron seis evaluaciones. Además, se evaluó el rendimiento y algunos de sus componentes. Los tres hongos redujeron las poblaciones de los insectos en comparación con el control, aunque el mayor efecto se logró con Metarhizium y Lecanicillium. Las aplicaciones con los hongos y el azufre provocaron también un efecto positivo en el rendimiento del cultivo y en sus componentes.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The present work was carried out in the "La Berta" farm located in the municipality of Alquízar, Artemisa province, with the objective of evaluating the effectiveness of the fungi Lecanicillium lecanii (Zimm) Zare &amp; Gams, Trichoderma harzianum Rifai and Metarhizium anisopliae sensu lato ( Metsch) Sorokin at a dose of 1012 conidia ha-1 and Sulfur at a dose of 3 kg ha-1 (ai), applied weekly in the leaf area of the plant, in the control of thrips (Thrips palmi Karny), leaves jumps (Empoasca kraemeri Ross &amp; Moore) and whitefly (Bemisia tabaci Gennadius), in the cultivation of common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.), variety CC-25-9N. A randomized block design with five treatments and four replications was used. The population of the insects was evaluated weekly, after the start of the applications, and a total of six evaluations were made. In addition, performance and some of its components were evaluated. All three fungi reduced insect populations compared to control, although the greatest effect was achieved with Metarhizium and Lecanicillium. The applications with fungi and sulfur also caused a positive effect on crop yield and its components.]]></p></abstract>
