Esto está cambiando radicalmente las formas de relacionarse y vivir los seres humanos, y plantea importantes retos a la educación. Para este estudio se partió de caracterizar la educación y el actual panorama de la virtualización y ubicuidad de las relaciones sociales, mediante un análisis de informes de instituciones, organizaciones o grupos de expertos internacionales. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar los principales retos de la educación ante este panorama. Los retos identificados son: reducción de la triple brecha digital de acceso, uso y enfoque, desarrollo de una ciudadanía ubicua que propicie la sostenibilidad, empleo ético de datos para promover el desarrollo humano, desarrollo del pensamiento crítico y creativo frente a la paradoja de la sobreinformación y el reduccionismo, humanización de las relaciones con las tecnologías, y generación de una didáctica desarrolladora en entornos ubicuos. Los retos se presentan como una totalidad que exige de las naciones y los sistemas educativos acciones integradoras y contextualizadas a las características de cada territorio.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The ongoing technological revolution has made it possible for social relationships to occur ubiquitously on both physically and virtually. This is radically changing the ways human beings relate and live, and it brings about significant challenges to education. This study started by characterizing education and the current scenario of virtualization and ubiquity of social relationships, through an analysis of reports from international institutions, organizations or groups of experts. The aim of the study was to identify the main challenges of education in this scenario. The challenges identified are: reduction of the triple digital split of access, use and approach; development of a ubiquitous citizenship that promotes sustainability; ethical use of data to support human development; development of critical and creative thinking in the face of the paradox of overinformation and reductionism; humanization of relationships with technologies; and generation of a developer didactics in ubiquitous environments. The challenges are presented as a totality that demands, from nations and educational systems, integrative actions which should be contextualized to the characteristics of each territory.]]></p></abstract>
