Investigación instrumental, la muestra para el análisis factorial exploratoria fue de 616 estudiantes y para el análisis factorial confirmatorio de 644 estudiantes. La validez de contenido se obtuvo a través del juicio de expertos y del coeficiente de validez V de Aiken. La validez de constructo se realizó a través del análisis factorial exploratorio encontrándose tres dimensiones: Habilidades del pensamiento, Habilidad para redactar académicamente y Habilidad para comunicar información, con un total 17 ítems. En el análisis factorial confirmatorio con adecuados índices de ajuste X2/gl=1.237; CFI= 991; RMSEA= .019; SRMR= .041 CFI=.997; TLI= .997. La confiabilidad a través del coeficiente omega, la escala general &#8486;= .898. Se concluye que, la EAHIF presenta evidencias de validez de contenido, de constructo y una adecuada confiabilidad.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The objective was to design and analyze the psychometric properties of EAHIF in university students from Lima, Peru. Instrumental research, the sample for the exploratory factor analysis was 616 students and for the confirmatory factor analysis, 644 students. Content validity was obtained through expert judgment and Aiken's V validity coefficient. The construct validity was carried out through exploratory factor analysis, finding three dimensions: Thinking skills, Ability to write academically and Ability to communicate information, with a total of 17 items. In the confirmatory factorial analysis with adequate fit indexes X2/gl=1.237; IFC= 991; RMSEA= .019; SRMR= .041 CFI=.997; TLI= .997. Reliability through the omega coefficient, the general scale &#937;= .898. It is concluded that the EAHIF presents evidence of content and construct validity and adequate reliability.]]></p></abstract>
