Las variables evaluadas fueron: aparición de la raíz, número de raíces/brote, longitud de la raíz y plántulas enraizadas. A los 30 días se observó, en la concentración de 0,5 mg L-1, un mayor número de raíces (3,9), longitud (3,76 cm) y explantes enraizados (87,5 %). Los resultados demuestran que el AIA influyó en el enraizamiento in vitro de segmentos nodales de Dahlia sp.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the present work, different concentrations of indole acetic acid (AIA) and its effect on the rooting of Dahlia sp cultivated in vitro were studied. Nodal explants from seedlings obtained in vitro were cultured in a modified MS culture medium in a semi-solid state, supplemented with 0; 0,1; 0,5; and 1 mg L-1 of indole acetic acid (IAA). The variables evaluated were: appearance of the root, number of roots/sprout, length of the root and rooted seedlings. At 30 days was observe in the concentration 0,5 mg L-1 on highest number of roots (3,9), length (3,76 cm) and rooted explants (87,5 %). The results show that AIA influenced the in vitro rooting of nodal explants of Dahlia sp.]]></p></abstract>
