<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000400002&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000400002&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000400002&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La selección participativa es una vía sencilla, rápida y eficiente de introducir un gran número de cultivares,su efectividad ha sido probada en diversos cultivos.Los fitomejoradores desarrollan cultivares más productivos en condiciones ideales, pero muchas veces no se adaptan bien a las condiciones específicas de los agricultores, este enfoque permite incrementar los rendimientos, la diversidad genética en los ambientes metas y la toma de decisiones de los agricultores en las comunidades participantes. El objetivo del estudio fue identificar los cultivares con mayor aceptación y los criterios agronómicos más tenidos en cuenta. Se muestran los resultados de la selección participativa de cultivares de soya en una Feria de Diversidad desarrollada en una finca del municipio Los Palacios. Con base a los criterios agronómicos considerados por los participantes, se identificaron los cultivares con mayor aceptación y se determinó el porcentaje de diversidad efectiva. Se destacaron por su buen comportamiento para la localidad los cultivares D-2101, DT-26, DT-22 y DT-20 y los caracteres con mayor grado de aceptación en el momento de realizar la selección fueron cantidad de granos por vaina, cantidad de vainas por planta, tamaño del grano, rendimiento, altura y la incidencia de plagas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Participatory selection is a simple, fast and efficient way to introduce a large cultivars number and its effectiveness in various crops is proven.Plant breeders develop more productive cultivars under ideal conditions but often do not adapt well to the specific conditions of farmers, this approach allows to increase yields, genetic diversity in the target environments and decision making of farmers in participating communities. The objective of the study was to identify the cultivars with the highest acceptance and the most taken into account agronomic criteria. In the present work the results of the participatory varietal selection of soybean are shown in a diversity fair developed in a farm in Los Palacios municipality. The most widely accepted cultivars were identified, the agronomic criteria most taken into account by the participants and the effective diversity percentage was determined. Cultivars D-2101, DT-26, DT-22 and DT-20 stand out with good behavior for the locality and the characters most taken into account at the moment of making the selection were number of grains per pod, number of pods per plant, grain size, yield, height and incidence of pests.]]></p></abstract>
