<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2079-34802020000400481&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2079-34802020000400481&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2079-34802020000400481&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The Statistical Model of Impact Measurement (MEMI) was applied to evaluate the factors that determine the efficiency of milk production in farms of farmers from the cooperative and farmer sector, usufructuaries from Camilo Cienfuegos Genetic Livestock Enterprise, Consolación del Sur municipality, Pinar del Río, Cuba. The study covered 74 usufructuaries, associated with six productive forms or Credit and Service Cooperatives from Consolación del Sur municipality. The evaluated indicators were: information of farmers (9 variables), information of usufruct farms (17 variables), information of the economic area of each productive form to which they are associated (4 variables) and others generated (5 variables). The principal component analysis of the studied variables showed that the first five components explained 81.00 % of the total variability of the data. The first main component was related to herd and production; the second with efficiency indices in milk production, the third with infrastructure and the fourth grouped adopted technologies. While, the fifth, and last, was related to areas and yields. The results confirmed that the adopted technologies have a great influence on the productive performance and the efficiency achieved by the farm. The negative impacts show the need to reorient the work of managers and usufructuaries to undertake actions, in which training prevails accompanied by a strong movement of agricultural extension, which transfers existing technologies to the milk-producing sector. This would cause a favorable transformation in the productive yields that are currently being achieved.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El Modelo Estadístico de Medición de Impacto (MEMI) se aplicó para evaluar los factores que determinan la eficiencia de la producción de leche en fincas de productores del sector cooperativo y campesino, usufructuarios de tierras de la Empresa Pecuaria Genética Camilo Cienfuegos, del municipio Consolación del Sur, en Pinar del Río, Cuba. El estudio abarcó 74 usufructuarios, asociados a seis formas productivas o Cooperativas de Créditos y Servicios del municipio Consolación del Sur. Los indicadores evaluados fueron: información de productores (9 variables), información de fincas en usufructo (17 variables), información área económica de cada forma productiva a la que se asocian (4 variables) y otras generadas (5 variables). El análisis de componentes principales de las variables estudiadas mostró que las primeras cinco componentes explicaron 81.00 % de la variabilidad total de los datos. La primera componente principal estuvo relacionada con el rebaño y la producción; la segunda con índices de eficiencia en producción de leche, la tercera con infraestructura y la cuarta agrupó tecnologías adoptadas. Mientras, la quinta, y última, estuvo relacionada con áreas y rendimientos. Los resultados constataron que las tecnologías adoptadas tienen gran influencia en el comportamiento productivo y en la eficiencia alcanzada por finca. Los impactos negativos indican la necesidad de reorientar el trabajo de directivos y usufructuarios para acometer acciones, en las que prevalezcan las capacitaciones acompañadas de un fuerte movimiento de extensión agraria, que transfiera tecnologías existentes para el sector productor de leche. Esto provocaría una transformación favorable en los rendimientos productivos que actualmente se alcanzan.]]></p></abstract>
