Para ello se estudiaron los documentos más relevantes sobre esta temática, tales como: ATC-40, FEMA 273, 356, VISION 2000 entre otros. Además, se presentan los resultados de un diagnóstico por medio de una encuesta tomando una muestra selectiva, sobre el nivel de conocimiento sobre las metodologías de evaluación sísmica por desempeño. Para futuras etapas de la investigación, se pretende aplicar dichas metodologías en un edificio en particular utilizando algunos programas computacionales que incluyen este tipo de análisis.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of the article is to share the advances of a documentary research in development whose main objective is to expose, understand, analyze and apply the current knowledge accumulated on structural evaluation methodologies by seismic performance levels in reinforced concrete buildings whose structural system it is rigid frames. For this, the most relevant documents on this subject were studied, such as ATC-40, FEMA 273, 356, VISION 2000, and others. In addition, presents the results of a diagnosis through a survey taking a selective sample, about the level of knowledge of seismic performance evaluation methodologies. For future phases of the investigation, it is intended to apply these methodologies in a particular building using some computer programs that include this type of analysis.]]></p></abstract>
