Porém; tanto os custos iniciais quanto o risco de afetar o ecossistema são muito altos. Por isso, é fundamental tratar adequadamente o corte que surge na superfície impregnada com diesel e garantir um destino final seguro para os mesmos. A introdução do conceito de economia circular permitiu demonstrar que é possível valorizar resíduos de perfuração para o fabrico de betão asfáltico, como subbase em misturas asfálticas para estradas. Os resultados mostram que a cadeia produtiva garante a destinação final segura de um resíduo poluente e economiza a produção de concreto asfáltico. A solução para o destino dos cortes garante a continuidade da extração de petróleo cubana.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La introducción del fluido base diésel (OBM) en la perforación petrolera cubana fue la solución ante enormes gastos por pérdidas de herramientas, prejuicios a los yacimientos y otros problemas que acontecían cuando se empleaba solo fluido acuoso durante la perforación petrolera en zonas geológicas complejas. Sin embargo; tanto los costos iniciales como el riesgo de afectación al ecosistema son muy elevados. Por ello, es crucial tratar adecuadamente el corte que emerge a la superficie impregnado de diésel y garantizar un destino final seguro a los mismos. La introducción del concepto de economía circular permitió demostrar que es posible valorizar el residuo de perforación para la fabricación de hormigones asfálticos, como subbases en mezclas asfálticas para carreteras. Los resultados demuestran que el encadenamiento productivo garantiza la disposición final segura de un residuo contaminante y economiza la producción de hormigones asfalticos. La solución al destino de los cortes garantiza la continuidad de la perforación petrolera cubana.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The introduction of the diesel base fluid (OBM) in Cuban oil drilling was the solution to enormous expenses due to loss of tools, damage to the reservoirs and other problems that occurred when only aqueous fluid was used during oil drilling in complex geological zones. However, both the initial costs and the risk of affecting the ecosystem are very high. It is therefore crucial to properly treat the cuttings that emerge to the surface impregnated with diesel and to guarantee a safe final destination for them. The introduction of the circular economy concept made it possible to demonstrate that it is possible to valorize drilling waste for the manufacture of asphalt concretes, as sub-bases in asphalt mixtures for roads. The results show that the production chain guarantees the safe final disposal of a polluting waste and economizes the production of asphalt concrete. The solution to the destination of the cuttings guarantees the continuity of Cuban oil drilling.]]></p></abstract>
