The connection of functional-semantic categories becomes the basis, scholars try to find a common or different semantic component in multisyllabic languages. Such processes can best be traced on the contrast of temporal meaning relations, types, based on the phenomenon of temporal localization/non-localization. In this paper, we use the functional-semantic category of temporal localization/non-localization on the example of the Kyrgyz language as a representative of the Turkic languages. The means of denoting the category of localization include temporal forms of the narrative verb, referential/non-referential subject, temporal and local markers. The interpretation of the variants of the temporal localization/non-localization categories of these means is uneven. We disclose the types of verb tenses, the way the action is performed, constructional determinants, etc. The relevance of the work lies in the fact that in the Kyrgyz language the species category is absent. Therefore, it is expedient to consider this topic more deeply, starting from the history of the study of the generic category in general linguistics. Kyrgyz, like the rest of the Turkic languages, is characterized by an analytic mode of formation. The lack of scientific-theoretical literature on the means of the organization of the functional-semantic category of temporal localization/non-localization in Kyrgyz linguistics proves the prospects of this study.
</abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es">
</abstract>
