Las variables que se controlan en el proceso son la temperatura y la cantidad de corriente total aplicada a los electrodos de la celda. Se realiza un estudio de las características principales de los microcontroladores MSP430, mostrando sus principales módulos, ventajas y desventajas. Se describe la celda electrolítica y se brindan además fundamentos teóricos relacionados con la electroquímica del proceso. Por último, se expone el diseño del sistema propuesto, así como los elementos utilizados en la implementación del mismo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In the present work, the design of a control system for the process of obtaining sodium hypochlorite that takes place in an electrolytic cell. The variables that are controlled in the process are the temperature and the amount of total current applied to the electrodes of the cell. A study of the main characteristics of the MSP430 microcontrollers is carried out, showing their main modules, advantages and disadvantages. The electrolytic cell is described and theoretical foundations related to the electrochemistry of the process are also provided. Finally, the design of the proposed system is exposed, as well as the elements used in its implementation.]]></p></abstract>
