El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la cohesión grupal en grupos de escuelas de enseñanza media superior especializada en La Habana. La muestra estuvo integrada por 261 estudiantes, distribuidos en 7 grupos de 4 escuelas (enseñanza técnica, de educación física y deporte, pedagógica y artística). Fueron aplicadas la técnica sociométrica, escala de cohesión grupal, cuestionario de metas, normas y características del estudiante, sesiones grupales y la observación natural al espacio docente. Los resultados muestran niveles medios-bajos de cohesión, tanto en el atractivo que ejercen los grupos sobre sus miembros como en la integración. En ambos casos la esfera de las relaciones sociales alcanza un mayor desarrollo. Todo ello se sustenta en estructuras jerárquicas, poco conectadas y con baja calidad de vínculos especialmente en el ejercicio de la tarea.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract School life takes place in group spaces where group cohesion plays a fundamental role. The objective of this research is to analyze the group cohesion in groups of Higher Secondary Education schools in Havana. The sample consisted of 261 students, distributed in 7 groups of 4 schools (technical education, physical education and sports, pedagogical and artistic). The sociometric technique, Group Cohesion Scale, Questionnaire of Goals, Norms and Characteristics of the student, group sessions and the natural Observation to the teaching space were applied. The results show medium-low levels of cohesion, both in the attraction that groups exercise over their members and in their integration. In both cases the sphere of social relations reaches a greater development. All this is based on hierarchical structures, little connected and with low quality of links especially in the exercise of the task.]]></p></abstract>
