La estrategia metodológica se basó en una sistematización teórica, que tuvo en el análisis de contenido cualitativo su procedimiento fundamental para la recopilación de información primaria basada en los indicadores siguientes: objetivos, referentes teóricos, funciones, componentes, tipos de cultura, niveles y metodologías. Sobre esa base se obtuvo como resultado un conjunto de tendencias que caracterizan en la actualidad al objeto de estudio y que demuestran los logros y desafíos que están presentes en la concepción e investigación de la evaluación de la cultura organizacional en las universidades.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The objective of this article is to identify the main trends that characterize the studies on organizational culture and its evaluation in universities. The methodological strategy was based on a theoretical systematization, which had in the analysis of qualitative content its fundamental procedure for the collection of primary information based on the following indicators: objectives, theoretical references, functions, components, types of culture, levels and methodologies. On that basis, a set of trends was obtained that currently characterize the object of study, and demonstrate the achievements and challenges that are present in the conception and research of organizational culture assessment in universities.]]></p></abstract>
