<self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000200003&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000200003&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S0258-59362019000200003&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN La utilización de cultivos precedentes, inoculados como vía para micorrizar eficientemente los cultivos en sucesión, tiene un alto valor práctico, sobre todo en cultivos como el boniato, cuya inoculación directa requiere una alta cantidad de inoculante, pero en los trabajos realizados solo se ha evaluado el intervalo de 30 días entre ambos cultivos. Con el objetivo de precisar la efectividad en intervalos superiores y su dependencia del tipo de cultivo precedente y época de plantación, se ejecutaron 12 experimentos en un suelo Pardo, utilizando maíz y dos especies de frijol como precedentes, sembrados en época lluviosa y poco lluviosa y en todos los casos bajo riego. Los precedentes presentaron una alta respuesta a la inoculación con Rhizophagus irregulare /INCAM11 en ambas épocas, con mayores porcentajes de colonización micorrízica, de esporas en el maíz y en la época lluviosa. La duración del efecto de permanencia en el rendimiento del boniato dependió del precedente y fue similar en ambas épocas, con las leguminosas se extendió hasta 45 días, aunque con el maíz, a los 45 días, se logró entre el 76 el 81 % del efecto y a los 60 días desapareció para ambos precedentes. Los mayores rendimientos del boniato se alcanzaron con la plantación en la época lluviosa y en la sucesión frijol-boniato. La potencialidad de los cultivos precedentes inoculados para provocar el efecto de permanencia, no puede ser definida a través de la simple comparación de los indicadores de funcionamiento micorrízico que presentan estos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The use of inoculated precedent crops as via to mycorrhize efficiently crops in succession have a practice high value and overall in crops like sweet potato which its direct inoculation needs a high amount of inoculants, but in the carried out studies only 30 days between both crops have been evaluated. With the purpose of precise the effectiveness in superior intervals and its dependence of the precedent crop and sowing season 12 experiments were executed in Brown soil, using maize and two species of bean as precedent seeded in rainy and little rainy seasons and in all cases under irrigation. The precedents presented a high response to inoculation with Rhizophagus irregulare/INCAM11 in both seasons with high percentages of mycorrhizal colonization and spores in maize and rainy season. The duration of the permanence effect in the sweet potato yield depended of the precedent and it was similar in both seasons, with leguminous it was extended until 45 days, although the maize at to the 45 days was achieved between 76 to 81 % of effect and at to the 60 days disappear for both precedents. The highest yields of sweet potato were achieved with the planting in the rainy season and in the bean-sweet potato succession. The potentiality of the precedent crops inoculated to provoke the permanence effect cannot be defined through the simple comparison of the indicators of mycorrhizal functioning that are presented in them.]]></p></abstract>
