Los tratamientos a fluidos de perforación modifican las propiedades de sus residuos para que cumplan con la normativa vigente y su disposición de manera segura. Se propone determinar indicadores de contaminación a fluidos de perforación base agua, el nivel de toxicidad y biodegradabilidad, para su disposición final al medio ambiente. Se comprobaron parámetros fisicoquímicos y la toxicidad aguda utilizando bioindicadores. Se obtuvo un contenido de grasas, aceites e hidrocarburos totales inferior al 1 %, normado para disposición de residuos contaminados en suelos. Ninguno resultó tóxico para la biota terrestre ni marina y fueron biodegradables.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRAT The exploration of hydrocarbons causes the dumping of harmful substances in marine and terrestrial areas, so it is essential to know the characteristics and the effects they cause to the native organisms in the areas of influence. Drilling fluid treatments modify the properties of your waste so that it complies with current regulations and is safely disposed of. It&#8217;s proposed to determine indicators of contamination to water-based drilling fluids, the level of toxicity and biodegradability, for their final disposal to the environment. Physicochemical parameters and acute toxicity were checked, using bioindicators. A content of fats, oils and total hydrocarbons less than 1% was obtained, regulated for the disposal of contaminated waste in soils. None were toxic to terrestrial or marine biota and were biodegradable.]]></p></abstract>
