No existe un tratamiento único y efectivo, por lo que hay que combinarlos en un mismo paciente.  Objetivo: Comparar los resultados de la cirugía de mínimo acceso con la osteotomía convencional, y con el mínimo acceso combinado con factor de crecimiento epidérmico recombinante.  Métodos: Estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y de corte transversal en un periodo de tiempo de un año de estudio con un universo de 100 pacientes que asistieron a la consulta de angiología de manera regular. Se obtuvo una muestra de 30 pacientes con presencia de un mal perforante plantar.  Resultados: Se obtuvo que: el tiempo quirúrgico fue más breve y con menos complicaciones en la cirugía de mínimo acceso sola; predominó la cirugía ambulatoria; hubo un discreto predominio del pie diabético neuroinfeccioso; la cirugía de mínimo acceso con uso de factor de crecimiento epidérmico logró el cierre más rápido.  Conclusiones: La cirugía de mínimo acceso es una opción terapéutica con bajo riesgo de complicaciones.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT  Introduction The neuropathic and neuroischemic ulcers are of difficult cure. A unique and effective treatment does not exist, so it is necessary to combine them in oneself patient.  Objective To compare the results of the surgery of minimum access and the conventional osteotomy with the use of factor of growth epidemic.  Methods: A descriptive, prospective study of traverse court in a period of time of one year of study, with a universe of 63 patients who attended the consultation of angiology in a regular basis. A sample of 30 patients was obtained with presence of a bad plantar perforate.  Results: It was obtained that: the surgical time was briefer and with less complications in the alone surgery of minimum access; the ambulatory surgery prevailed; there was a discreet prevalence of the neuroinfectious diabetic foot; the surgery of minimum access with use of factor of epidermal growth achieved the quickest closing.  Conclusions: The surgery of minimum access is a therapeutic option with low risk of complications.]]></p></abstract>
