Metodológicamente se realizó un abordaje exploratorio y descriptivo con las encuestas de las matrices curriculares y sus respectivos planes educativos, siendo estas de fuente secundaria, puramente cualitativas. Se concluyó que el IFMS Proeja se encamina hacia una modalidad que coadyuve efectivamente en la búsqueda de la sustentabilidad, con miras a la inclusión social, profesional y económica. En ese contexto, la Educación Ambiental analizada en este artículo se define por la perspectiva centrada, de hecho, en la composición y el trabajo de la ciudadanía.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é demonstrar como a Educação Ambiental inserida no Programa Nacional de Integração da Educação Profissional com a Educação Básica na modalidade de Educação de Jovens e Adultos, o Proeja, oferecido pelo Instituto Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, se correlaciona com os pilares da sustentabilidade (social, econômico e ambiental), integrando formação geral e educação profissional. Metodologicamente, foi realizada uma abordagem exploratória e descritiva com os levantamentos das matrizes curriculares e seus respectivos planos educacionais, sendo estes de fonte secundária, puramente qualitativa. Concluiu-se que o Proeja do IFMS se direciona para uma modalidade que auxilia de forma efetiva na busca pela sustentabilidade, com vistas à inclusão social, profissional e econômica. Dentro deste contexto, a Educação Ambiental analisada neste artigo encontra-se definida pela perspectiva voltada, de fato, à composição e a laboração da cidadania.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The objective of this article is to demonstrate how the Environmental Education inserted in the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education modality, Proeja, offered by the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, correlates with the pillars of sustainability (social, economic and environmental), integrating general training and professional education. Methodologically, an exploratory and descriptive approach was carried out with the surveys of the curricular matrices and their respective educational plans, being these of secondary source, purely qualitative. It was concluded that the IFMS Proeja is directed towards a modality that effectively helps in the search for sustainability, with a view to social, professional and economic inclusion. Within this context, Environmental Education analyzed in this article is defined by the perspective focused, in fact, on the composition and work of citizenship.]]></p></abstract>
