</abstract>

Its implementation at the residential levelhas been entrusted to the company COPEXTEL. One of the main problems it faces is the current condition of the electrical systems in Cuban residences, most of which do not have grounding or differential protection to protect against leakage currents. Another problem, no less important, is the requirement that the SSFV can be used when there is no connection to the network, which is currently not possible. It is necessary to define the required grounding levels as well as a solution that allows considering an electrical service with high vitality, even when there is no power supply from the conventional electrical grid.
</abstract>
