A diferencia de los transformadores de potencia, los autotransformadores poseen, en cada fase del devanado de alta tensión, una bobina serie y otra común, que deben ensayarse por separado para poder discriminar el estado de cada una de ellas. Se muestran los resultados obtenidos empleando la configuración de admitancia de circuito abierto y realizando un barrido desde la frecuencia de 10 Hz hasta 1000 kHz. Las comparaciones de las funciones transferenciales de respuesta se hicieron entre fases de un mismo autotransformador y para el análisis de los resultados se aplicó el método estadístico de los Coeficientes de Correlación. Se comprobó que la ocurrencia de varios eventos de cortocircuitos y malas operaciones, provocaron modificaciones en la geometría de los devanados de ambos equipos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The application of swept frequency response analysis (SFRA) as a fault diagnosis tool in two autotransformers of a substation is described. Unlike power transformers, autotransformers have, in each phase of the high voltage winding, a series coil and a common coil, which must be tested separately in order to discriminate the state of each of them. The results obtained using the open circuit admittance configuration and sweeping from the frequency of 10 Hz to 1000 kHz are shown. Comparisons of the transference response functions were made between phases of the same autotransformer and the statistical method of Correlation Coefficients was applied to analyze the results. It was found that the occurrence of several short circuit events and poor operations, caused modifications in the geometry of the windings of both devices.]]></p></abstract>
