El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la estabilidad del montacargas MCD25 cumpliendo con la norma ISO 22915 Industrial trucks - Verification of stability. Como alternativa a las pruebas experimentales, se realizó la simulación dinámica multicuerpos, trazándose el objetivo de: obtener y verificar un modelo para evaluar la estabilidad del montacargas MCD25 mediante la modelación y simulación de las pruebas de estabilidad según la norma ISO 22915-2. Empleando la modelación y simulación multicuerpos, se implementó el modelo y las pruebas según las condiciones estipuladas en la norma. Se modeló 3D el MCD25 para así estimar su centro de gravedad y el ángulo de pérdida de estabilidad. Al comparar con los valores estipulados en la norma se determina que el montacargas MCD25 es estable de acuerdo a la norma ISO 22915.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Forklifts are prone to accidents due to loss of stability. The objective this research was to evaluate the stability of the MCD25 forklift in compliance with the ISO 22915 Industrial trucks - Verification stability standard. As an alternative to experimental tests, multibody dynamic simulation was performed, with the objective of: obtaining and verifying a model to evaluate the stability of the MCD25 forklift by modeling and simulating the stability tests according to the ISO 22915-2 standard. Using multibody modeling and simulation, the model and tests were implemented according to the conditions stipulated in the standard. The MCD25 was modeled in 3D to estimate its center of gravity and the angle of loss stability. When compared with the values &#8203;&#8203;stipulated in the standard, it is determined that the MCD25 forklift is stable according to the ISO 22915 standard.]]></p></abstract>
